Lora's Log Lines
Tomorrow's Children
Rage-infected women now rule the world, a revolution is brewing among the men, and humanity is going extinct. In this future, everything has changed.
The rage disease swept through the survivors on the heels of the nuclear apocalypse, causing biological changes that made females stronger, angrier, lethal. Tearing through an already devastated world, those who survived the disease took control of everything. They enslaved the remaining male population and instituted a Network controlled fight-to-the-death system for ownership.
Hundreds of years later, men are now going extinct, and a revolution is brewing among the few who remain free. These rebels enlist the help of a dangerous family of female bounty hunters, bargaining a deal where the hunters fight on their side. If they win this war against the Network, a new world will be created where the disease is cured, and no males are born into slavery. If they lose, humanity will finish its fast fall into extinction. Reluctant Partners
Marc made a lot of enemies during his Marine deployments. Those enemies have decided to attack in the one place where he’s alone and he feels safe--his homeland. When a wild wolf is swept up in the fight, it begins a reluctant partnership that just might save both of their lives.
Dog is running for his life. Wrongly blamed for an attack on a child, the wolf fled into the wilderness to avoid human hunters. The last thing he wanted was to be shoved into someone else’s survival flight.
Marc just returned from a long deployment that did little to boost his faith in humanity. He prefers to spend his downtime in parks and forests, avoiding people, but barely a day passes before the Corporal is ambushed and forced to use the skills he developed over nearly six years in the Corps. Except, this time, instead of a gritty fire team or squad of angry Marines fighting alongside, his backup is a lethal wolf that likes to attack him when his back is turned. I spent 12 years as a taxi driver/dispatcher in Cincinnati, learning about human nature while supervising the office and dispatching trips to a fleet of 40 cabs. New Year's Eves were indescribable.
