First appearance: Kyle’s first mention is in Adrian’s journal in Book #1. His first appearance is at the end of the same chapter when he is giving Adrian an update on their new radio man.

Notes: Kyle has been two different types of descendant, a feat very few have ever accomplished. When Jennifer shared her gifts, he became a hybrid. Now that his real gifts have come in, I wonder if he misses those other gifts?
Kyle has slowly accepted his role in the circle of life, though he’ll never really like it. Killing reminds him of his mistakes before the war when he wasn’t a good person. Now, he wants to be more, better, and still maintain his cold persona and respect in camp. After Jennifer’s mistakes while Angela and the mission teams were gone, Kyle understands more about human nature now. He’ll help Jennifer regain respect, but he’ll never interfere with her goals again. He knows what she wants most now-control and power. He is determined that she’ll have it.
